The InProReg project gives us the opportunity to strengthen our cooperation with providers of technical vocational educations across the German-Danish border and to become part of the cross-border competence development forum for new, innovative teaching and training methods.
– Leif Elsborg
EUC Syd was founded in 1994 and has 380 employees. The school currently has more than 2.000 students a year. It is a modern business school located in the Region of Southern Denmark, with branches in Sønderborg, Aabenraa, Haderslev and Tønder. This means, among other things, that the school has a large network of contacts to other educational institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises, professional organisations as well as policy makers at local, regional and national level.
Automation, sustainability and energy optimisation are some of the focus areas at EUC Syd and that are disseminated in an application-oriented way using laboratories and other facilities. EUC Syd’s valuable experience will, on the one hand, help to provide an overview of the learning opportunities within automation and on the other hand, to help develop new educational concepts that are relevant for the local industry. EUC Syd is, among other things, a very active player in the continuous development of education as automation technicians, both regional and national.
