College of Technology and Design

For the Eckener-College, expansion of the cross-border network and cooperation with universities is of particular importance. The project enables us to adapt and ensure our existing educational opportunities in the context of technological developments. Furthermore, we can increase the awareness of our college with the possible consequence that graduates get an interesting job and the technical college is still in demand as an institution for attractive career development.

Eckener-College of Technology and Design offers education and continuing education to commercial engineering professionals within mechatronics, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, among others. For this purpose, it maintains a number of collaborations and contacts with regional companies and universities. The subjects of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics are involved in teaching and several weeks of project work with individual or group work, including topics in the field of work organization, process automation, process optimization, design and modelling.
